I’ve been very public about my distaste for all the talk in the success training and Internet marketing world about how much money everyone is making. All the promises have been about making 6 figures or 7 figures, as if someone decided those were the only two financial goals worth shooting for.
My biggest problem with this is:
It makes you feel that if you’re not making 6 or 7 figures, then you’re not successful. And that couldn’t be further from the truth.
By the way, according to my research, only about 6% of Americans make 6 figures per year, and only.3% make 1 million. Not to burst your bubble if your goal is 6 or 7 figures, but just realize that the majority of Americans never get there. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it’s not as easy as many would like you to believe. If it was, we’d all be there.
That’s not to say that most people can’t do significantly better than they’re currently doing.

Many of us would like to walk into our jobs and tell our boss goodbye. Pack up our desk and watch the look of jealousy on the faces of our fellow employees as we turn and leave. But most of us won’t do it because we’re afraid of leaving the known for the unknown. We’d like to start our own business and be our own boss, but we’re afraid of watching the money dry up as we start to build that business. It would be great to start a business with little or no money.
Working from home would be the ideal situation for most, especially if you have children. You can take care of the household/family duties first then work your schedule. The only commute you have is to the computer and you can do that in your house robe and slippers. Working from home can be one of the best things for a stay at home parent wannabe.
What type of business could you have at home? How much money would you need to get started and to sustain it until a profit was made? We know the statistics of small start up businesses are bleak. The fact that 70 percent of all businesses fail in the first year can be daunting. If you make it past the first year it could still be 4 or 5 years before you see a real profit. Even if you had a good product, you have an uphill battle. You could even be battling other businesses in your community.
What if you could start a business with little or no money, and you didn’t have to worry about inventory, accounts receivable, customer service or anything like that. All you have to do is concentrate on marketing the product to people who are eagerly searching for it. Essentially, that’s what you do in affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing can be a great home based business. You can start your business with virtually no risk. When you sign up with a company as an affiliate, you are signing on as a partner. You are selling goods or services on behalf of that company, and you get paid based on what you sell.

A business without enough money is like a human being without blood or a jet plane without fuel. It is an essential resource your business needs in order to achieve its fullest potential.
You can have the best ideas, a bunch of talented people, a great product and a potential market. However, without proper money management, none of your goals can materialize.
I have seen entrepreneurs doing great work, attracting lots of customers and delivering great value. However, because there was nobody paying close attention to the numbers, the business soon found itself having to close down.
All this could have been avoided if only the business owner understood and paid more attention to managing the cash flow of the company.

No one would ever deny of the great crisis that the world encountered and suffered. It is lucky and fortunate enough to those people who still held their jobs during the time of economic chaos when President Obama was declared as the President of the United States.
